...What is important is the great service that I get when I come here. The 2 ladies at the front (Marilyn and Chellie) are always super friendly, helpful, and happy.

I typically go in for something that is under warranty or like this past time, to get my ignition coils replaced as told to do by a letter I got in the mail, have my brakes redone, and have them check my transmission fluid due to my car not shifting properly.

I always make my appointments online so that if for some reason they don't have my appointment, I can show them the confirmation that I got. I made my appointment for 11:30 and when Marilyn called me, she asked if I was set on that time or if I could bring it in around 12:30 because they go on lunch at 11:30 and since I was waiting for my car, this was helpful information so I changed my appointment time and all was good!

When I showed up I was told that the courtesy shuttle driver would be back in a few and that he could take me wherever (of course I chose to go shopping). In the meantime, I was told that if I didn't want to watch soaps, I could ask the cashier for the remote and watch whatever I wanted! I had a book and my ipod though so I didn't need that, but they were very nice about making me as comfortable as I could be. They also always have the typical coffee, tea, donuts, etc for you to nibble/sip on if you please.

After I finished up my shopping, I went back to the dealer to get my car and was told that they didn't find anything wrong with the transmission but that if I felt that something was wrong to call them and drop it off at closing time so that they could look at it first thing in the morning when the engine was cool and that they would get me a rental car through VW to use until my car was done. I only have 10,000 miles (or August) until my warranty expires so hopefully they will be just as good with my car after that, but so far, I think they have done a great job with everything here!

Also, when I leave, my car looks shiny and new since they wash not only the outside, but they also vacuum the inside.  Even if I am in for a free service or something under warranty, I always come out with a clean car!

PS- I live in the city and have been to several VWs between the city, Daly City, etc, but I always end up doing the drive to Dublin because it is just a peaceful experience!

...It was fixed right the first time, they explained every charge to me, advised me that I may need a catalytic converter in the future (no pressure to replace now) and spent a lot of time detailing my car which now looks almost new inside!

I heart a brand new transmission~

...They were very friendly, told me that indeed, the tranny was covered (a $5000 item~) and that a coolant leak I had was also covered. They did find one small $200 item that wasn't covered but it was legit. It took about a week to get my car back but with a new free tranny, it was worth the wait...overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will be back!

By far the best VW dealer I have ever been to. I moved out of the Dublin/Pleasanton area a long time ago, but I still go to this dealership for service (I overheard a San Jose resident say the same when I was waiting for service). The showroom is very clean, there is a nice vending machine with complimentary drinks, and the people are very friendly. I once asked if I needed a particular service and, rather than pressing it upon me, they told me I didn't.

I recently decided to go to a closer VW dealership for service since I now live over 20 miles away, however I discovered that EVERY dealership I called in the East Bay charged more for service than Dublin. Quality service at the lowest price is worth a small commute.

We took our 04 VW Passat to Dublin VW for a few standard service items today, and was wowed by the service lady's knowledge, patience, professionalism, and she didn't mind that I called her 4 times throughout the day to ask questions about the scope of the work under way on our car. Later, when she called to inform us of some trouble spots on the car, she was careful not to push us into agreeing on all the work suggested. She simply presented the information the mechanics gave her, and she explained when I had a question or two. It was a top-notch service experience. Chellie is the name of the service person at the counter today. She rocks!

We had a great experience buying a new beetle at Dublin VW...Kermit was very helpful and pretty much it was a very pleasant experience. We traded in our older Beetle....We had to come back the next day to get the new car as we did not have the old VW with us on our way to a Warriors game, and BK handed the car over to us. It was missing the tow-bolt cover and the flower holder, however we were able to get both by week's end, as was promised. The salesmen we dealt with were both very friendly and followed through as stated. Love the car!!!!

I called around and found this dealer has the best deals for all service. Saved $30 on an oil change and $70 on service. They have even better deals from time to time which can be found on the website.

Don't know enough about cars to rate the quality of service, but definitely got the job done. The service people were polite.

After this discovery will certainly continue to take my car here for future service. Convenient access to BART makes the trip fully worth the money saved.

Went here to test drive the GTI, and although ultimately I did not buy it the saleswoman that was helping me was very nice and helpful.  It was really more the car wasn't right for what I wanted that I didnt purchase from them.

Since my car died, I went car shopping. I went to D.Brothers, no help there, and fairly rude, I went to Dublin VW.  Fell in love with white CC class. Had a friendly salesman, Johnny, not pushy whatsover, walk me through the car features and went for test drive. Loved the car. My wife always had her eye on the EOS, test drove it early that morning.  After some talking, we discussed if we could get a great deal, we would consider purchasing both. Long story short, great deal, they bought us dinner and we left happy campers.  Great group of people. Highly recommend.

I have now bought two cars from Richard Skordas, Sales Manager in the past year.  He is true salesman, willing to work a deal.  This past week on April 30th, I first encountered Al Solorzano, he was very pleasant from the beginning of my car shopping experience.   He was willing to work with me from the very beginning, he devoted 100% of his time to answer every question I had, and was willing to go back and forth on the negotiation process for two plus hours until we reached a deal that was mutually satisfying for both parties. 

Being in the sales profession myself; I was pleasantly surprised by the polished non-aggressive approach by Al Solorzano.  I can honestly see why he has been their top salesmen since December of 2009.  I would highly recommend this dealership to any of friends, family, and customers.  We are actually going back this weekend on Saturday, May 7th to look for a third new car.  I have purchased 14 cars over the last 12 years - This was the best dealership I have purchased a vehicle from.

I purchased my 2010 Jetta Sport Wagon from Dublin Volkswagon, I was driving a 2007 BMW 328i and I can honestly say that there is a huge difference between BMW and Volkswagon. I had the best experience in purchasing my car. The sales manager, Rich, the salesman Kermit and the money guy, Neil were just the best! I felt like I was the only person in the showroom! We joked, we laughed and I knew that they were trying to get me the best deal possible and to top it all off I felt that they were completely honest and that says a lot!
The next day I had to return my leased BMW to Pleasanton BMW the next day, I was at Toyota getting my fiances car serviced and Volkswagon sent a driver over to Toyota to pick me up, drive me to my house to get the BMW spare keys then to Volkswagon to pick up the BMW. They followed me over and waited in the car while I signed my car over and then drove me back to Toyota to pick up my fiances car. To me there is no better service then that! These guys ROCK!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks to all of you that helped me out!
